My name is Nicholas and I am the founder of Tea Stop. I started my business in 2018 at the bustling West End Markets in Brisbane and expanded my services to the vibrant Organic Northey Street Markets and later, the Brisbane CBD. I started creating my own blends of Organic Chai and Organic Rooibos Chai which are created in small batches.
After travelling to Japan in 2019, I expanded my knowledge and developed a love and appreciation of Organic Japanese Stone Ground Green teas. These teas have higher antioxidants and even more health benefits than loose leaf tea. In 2020, I sourced a supply of stone ground teas from Japan of Organic Matcha, Organic Hojicha and Genmaicha.
At Tea Stop, you can experience the taste of all our teas as we serve the lovingly-made range at the following markets:
• West End Markets Brisbane: Saturdays 6am - 2pm, Summer hours 6am - 2pm
• Northey St Organic Markets, Windsor: Sundays 6am - 11am
• Brisbane City Markets, Reddacliff Place, Brisbane: Wednesdays 8am - 6pm, Tea Stop opens at 6am
Through whisking a bowl of Matcha, we appreciate the culture and traditional methods of formulating a drink and offer you a wide range of tools and exquisite, handcrafted pottery sourced directly from Japan.
Our goal is for you to experience and savour the taste and flavour of our premium Organic Teas which offer numerous health benefits whilst protecting the ecology of our planet without the use of pesticides.

Meet the Founder - Nicholas:
I'm Nicholas, the founder of Tea Stop. My journey in the world of tea began back in 2018 when I set up shop at the bustling West End Markets in Brisbane and the vibrant Organic Northey Street Markets at Windsor, Brisbane. It has since grown, with Tea Stop becoming a familiar name in Brisbane and expanded to the Brisbane City Markets at Reddacliff Place. Our journey didn't stop there; we've also expanded to the Brisbane Genki Market at Charlotte St, Brisbane CBD.
Crafting Unique Blends:
One of my passions lies in crafting unique blends of organic teas. I take pride in creating small batches of Organic Chai and Organic Rooibos Chai, each made with love and care.
